Visit to the Baines Endowed School

January 2, 2018

Ross was delighted to learn that the Year 5 pupils had been inspired by his painting images and, that he was the subject of a Class Art Project.

At Ross's request, Mrs Pauline Evans, a grandparent and volunteer at the school, forwarded an image of the completed Art Project (see below).

Children's art is always a great inspiration to Ross and, on learning that 2017 was the 300th Anniversary of the Founding of The School, he was inspired to do his own painting with an intention of gifting it to the School for the Anniversary.

Ross paid a visit to the Baines Endowed School, Thornton Cleveleys on the Fylde in October 2017. He was delighted to unveil the Painting and entertain the School with a talk and art demonstration. Afterwards, he gratefully enjoyed tea, sandwiches and cakes, specially laid on to celebrate the event. On his return to Ireland, he was pleased to receive a delightful "thank you" card from the School specially made by Sophie.
