Ross donates one of his artworks to Connolly Hospital, Dublin
Ross recently presented the doctors, nurses and staff of Laurel Ward, Connolly Hospital, Dublin, with one of his artworks.
The piece gifted to the ward is a bright and cheerful 2007 acrylic painting titled 'Liffey Bridges'. The donation was made as a thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital in recognition of their hard work and dedication. The donation was one of personal significance to Ross after he spent some time, as a patient, on the ward back in 2009. He was eager to show his appreciation and so decided to donate one of his own works, as a thank you, so that it could be enjoyed by the doctors, nurses, patients and staff at the hospital for years to come.
On May 24th 2010 Ross presented the nurses of Laurel Ward with 'Liffey Bridges'. The painting, and a presentation plaque dedicating the work to the nurses and staff of Laurel Ward, now hang in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin.
